Some good people pointed out this article to me several months ago and I thought it was amazing. Like most people I know, I’m not an architecture buff, but — like most people I know — I’ve always found the majority of contemporary architecture to be hideous. This article helped me to understand what is going on with my innate revulsion to modern design. Kind of a long read, but definitely interesting.
